About the Festival

A celebration of community, blueberries, and small-town Michigan magic.

A Blueberry Tradition

Nestled in Michigan's Thumb region, Imlay City sits at the heart of some of the richest blueberry farming country in the state. For more than 30 years, the Blueberry Festival has been a beloved summer tradition — a day when the whole community comes together to celebrate the fruit that put this corner of Michigan on the map.

After a few quieter years, the festival is back with new energy and a renewed mission. Bomb Burgers and Imlay City Rotary have teamed up to bring the celebration roaring back to Third Street — bigger, louder, and more fun than ever. From live music and pie eating contests to car shows and cornhole tournaments, there's something for every member of the family.

But at its core, this festival is about something simple: neighbors showing up for neighbors, local businesses supporting local kids, and a community that takes pride in where it comes from. We're not just throwing a party — we're building something that lasts.

Where the Money Goes

💙

Every dollar raised at the Blueberry Festival goes right back into the community. This isn't a corporate event — it's a labor of love by people who live here and care deeply about Imlay City's future.

Proceeds raised through Imlay City Rotary support the Imlay City community — funding local projects that make our town a better place to live, work, and grow up.

When you eat a blueberry pie, dunk a friend, or cheer on a cornhole match, you're supporting our community.
